Class 3: Copper Level, U13B and U12B Teams
The Silver Lightning have been together since 2008, moving up to Comp level in Spring 2011. Our experienced coaching staff focuses on developing fitness, technical skills, tactical understanding and personal development in a strongly team-oriented environment. Players should bring a love of soccer and the commitment to work hard and support their team-mates during all practices and games.
For Fall 2011, we are expanding our squad to create two teams – U13 for players born after 1/8/98, and U12 for players born after 1/8/99. We anticipate some opportunities for younger boys to guest with the U13.
Tryouts: Our U13 roster is full at this time, but we have further opportunities on the U12 team. All positions welcome, but we are especially interested in those with Goalkeeping skills and experience.

About WVYSL
West Valley Youth Soccer League (WVYSL) is a non-profit, 100% volunteer organization, serving the youth of West San Jose, Campbell, and portions of Saratoga, Los Gatos, and Cupertino. The league was founded in 1968. WVYSL offers recreational, competitive and select level of plays for U8 to U19 players, and Micro soccer for U4 to U6.
WVYSL is affiliated with California Youth Soccer Association North (CYSA_N), US Youth Soccer, and US Soccer
.All WVYSL coaches are mandated to take Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) courses, and uses iSoccer standards for player skill development.
