In 2009 season, the WV Sharks were runners up in the Delgado league (8-1-1) and a finalist in the District II Cup, Bronze division.  This year, our goal is to take first place and play in the state-wide Association Cup.

Our coaches are focused on teaching fundamental skills with an emphasis on teamwork, passing on our collective knowledge of the game, thus developing a team which can compete at the highest levels.  We have licensed coaches who have college and adult league experience, who still actively play and have a passion for the game.  Our coaches are dedicated unpaid volunteers enabling a low annual total cost for our players and their parents.

The coaches prepare a plan and objectives for individual and team milestones each year.  With support from parents and family, we are able to establish a high quality yet low-cost close-knit team environment.  The team’s nucleus has played together for more than 3 years.

We have openings for skilled players.  Players born between Aug 1, 1997 and October 31, 1998 are eligible.

Tryouts:

Saturday, August 14th at 8:30 am to 10:00 am at Prospect High School Stadium (18900 Prospect Road, Saratoga; which at the corner of Prospect & Lawrence).
