We were formed from a WVYSL U18 Team in 2010.WV Wegians is a U19 Boys team who plays in the Coastal Division of the CCSL fall League. We came 2nd in the Spring League in 2010 and are currently playing in the Fall league, where we hope to do well, being as it’s our 1st Fall competition. In Sept. we took first place in the BUSC Fall Harvest Tournament in Pleasanton, CA, when we beat the Host Team 14 to 13 after penalties. We are competing in the District Cup in October, Association Cup in 2011 and some other tournaments prior to Fall 2011 Season.
With us being a U19 Team, we will be looking for a number of players for Spring and Fall 2011, as many of our current players will ‘age out’ after Fall 2010 is complete.

About WVYSL
West Valley Youth Soccer League (WVYSL) is a non-profit, 100% volunteer organization, serving the youth of West San Jose, Campbell, and portions of Saratoga, Los Gatos, and Cupertino. The league was founded in 1968. WVYSL offers recreational, competitive and select level of plays for U8 to U19 players, and Micro soccer for U4 to U6.
WVYSL is affiliated with California Youth Soccer Association North (CYSA_N), US Youth Soccer, and US Soccer
.All WVYSL coaches are mandated to take Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) courses, and uses iSoccer standards for player skill development.
