2009 District II Cup Champions (bronze)

West Valley Fusion F.C. just completed it’s first season of Competitive Soccer. We finished as Delgado “B” Division Champions, District II Cup Champions, and a 3rd place in the Livermore Fall Classic. In Delgado, we finished with a 6-2-2 record.

This Fall we will be competing as a U15 team, in the new CYSA-Cal Soccer League and plan to be in the Coast Silver division.

We play a team first, fun, attack style soccer. We stress technical skills, fundamentals, and aggressive play. We are multi-sport friendly and have girls that participate in other sports/activities. Our team is made up of girls that love soccer, our goal is to nurture that love into a team that is technically and tactically proficient. We plan on competing in several local tournaments this Summer and Fall.

We are coached by Scott Hughes and Chris Lavond.

About WVYSL

West Valley Youth Soccer League (WVYSL) is a non-profit, 100% volunteer organization, serving the youth of West San Jose, Campbell, and portions of Saratoga, Los Gatos, and Cupertino. The league was founded in 1968.

WVYSL is affiliated with California Youth Soccer Association North (CYSA_N), US Youth Soccer, and US Soccer. The league offers recreational, competitive and select level of plays for U8 to U19 players, and Micro soccer for U4 to U6.
