Level: Coast Bronze (Class 3)

WV United is a year-round team, coming off a successful fall season, placing second in their respective division. The West Valley United U17 Girls team currently has a few openings. We focus on positive play, technical development and tactical understanding of the game to encompass a rewarding soccer experience. This team is co-coached by Greg Vasquez and Amanda Vasquez. Both coaches have a unique and strong soccer background to enhance this newly united team. Greg Vasquez has a National D coaching license level and a Referee grade 8 license. He has coached for over fifteen years including several top finishes in both league and tournament play. Additionally, Greg was recognized as CYSA District 2 Co-Coach of the Year, Girls 2007. Amanda Vasquez has played from an early age at a high level and has developed into a strong positive role model for girl soccer players. Her playing experience on championship teams and a keen drive for improvement provides a superior learning environment for this U16 girl’s team. Greg and Amanda also coach at the high school varsity level.

About WVYSL

West Valley Youth Soccer League (WVYSL) is a non-profit, 100% volunteer organization, serving the youth of West San Jose, Campbell, and portions of Saratoga, Los Gatos, and Cupertino. The league was founded in 1968.

WVYSL is affiliated with California Youth Soccer Association North (CYSA_N), US Youth Soccer, and US Soccer. The league offers recreational, competitive and select level of plays for U8 to U19 players, and Micro soccer for U4 to U6.
