Owls FC 02 is a competitive team for players born after July 31st 2002. We offer three experienced coaches and a friendly and talented group of players, most of whom have been playing together for several years now. We are passionate in our goal to support the growth of the players as individuals and as a team and while all our boys have fun our club goals include contributing to the development of physically fit and well disciplined soccer players.
Heading into the 11/12 Fall and Spring seasons we are playing at the Bronze level which is currently the highest available level for U9 boys. As a result we’re looking to add one or possibly two players to our roster. If interested please email us and come down to our practices for a try-out: we typically hold two practices a week on Mondays and Thursdays.
About WVYSL
West Valley Youth Soccer League (WVYSL) is a non-profit (501 (c) 3), and volunteer-based organization, serving the youth of West San Jose, Campbell, and portions of Saratoga, Los Gatos, and Cupertino. The league was founded in 1968. WVYSL offers recreational, competitive and select level of plays for U8 to U19 players, and Micro soccer for U4 to U6.
WVYSL is affiliated with California Youth Soccer Association -- Cal North, US Youth Soccer, and US Soccer
.All WVYSL coaches are mandated to take Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) courses, and uses iSoccer standards for player skill development.
