PRACTICE/TRAINING:

The Revolution Red team players practice on a Tues/Thurs schedule during the Spring season; practices are two hours.  We practice late afternoon to allow girls to complete school activities and homework before practice.  In addition, this Spring, we have had an optional Friday scrimmage team with players from both teams that practices on Fridays and scrimmages other teams for players who want more.

We  take a 2-week long winter break, and a 3-week summer break, and we are usually off on major holidays. In the off-season, the girls practice twice a week and play a scrimmage a week.  Over the winter, optionally some players choose to participate in futsal; this past winter we had one Revolution Red futsal team of 7 players that is playing in the Futsal San Jose League. Optional clinics and training are available throughout the year, as well, and many girls attend summer camps together. Players are expected to attend 80 percent of the team practices and games.
Coach Vinko has been coaching the core of this team for two and a half years now. He is currently assisted by 2 licensed parent assistant coaches: Sandra Smith-Dugan, Bobby Joe Stewart.  There is nearly always at least one assistant coach at practice.
TRYOUTS:
We will hold Fall 2013 tryouts during our regular team practice times. If you are interested or have questions about the team, please contact us.
